He moved towards the glass tank containing red liquid first as it attracted more attention than the shelves. The glass tank is as big as a normal car and is placed on a stand containing four wheels, there is also a tap at the lowest base of the glass tank for fetching the red liquid. A tag was also labeled beside the tap which said
[Blood of the 'general leveled' Silkworm]
[Effects- grants bloodline of the 'general leveled' silkworm. Can heal major injuries of the body by making cocoon on that body part.]
"Oh, so the blood pond which formed a cocoon on me for my revival was made of this blood." He finally understood that the cocoon helped in his revival by healing major injuries of his heart and side areas.
"Whirl". Just after he finished reading the contents on the tag and moved towards the right shelf, the tank started to move forward on its own and went outside the altar and stopped some short distance away from the boundary barrier.
"It's good that it moved on its own to outside, it helps me save the trouble of doing it by myself, otherwise every time I am injured I would have to enter inside the altar, thus wasting the chances on the token."
After that, he finally moved toward the shelf on the right. The shelf contained three sections inside the shelf horizontally, there are only 3 books on the shelf, one in each section. At the top of the shelf was written 'Compendium'. He withdrew a book from the top section of the shelf, the book was so thick that it was difficult to handle with two hands.
On the top of the book was a golden tag [ Compendium of spirit plants- Part 1]. He opened the book and there was a heading 'Introduction' which told about the origin of spirit herbs.
"In the prehistoric era, in a beginning era of a planet where there only plants, animals and humans still being present in only their primate stage, the plants found it very difficult to survive as most of the animals were only herbivorous. Although there were carnivorous animals present to balance the ecological cycle, they didn't make up for the vast amount of herbivorous animals like rats and other animals. So Soon many plants started to evolve themselves to avoid their extinction, some grew thorns to avoid land animals while some released poisonous liquid to avoid underground rats."
"But it was still to no avail, as much as the plants evolved so did the animals. The land animals began to have a thick skin and strong teeth which directly crumble thorns into powder while the underground rats became immune to the poisons, which made the survival rate of plants even low. But when heaven closes all the doors, it will always leave a door open, thus when the various mutations of plants were failed, one managed to succeed."
"The succeeded variant of the plant didn't take any defensive posture but rather an attacking stance, ' the Pitcher plant' was birthed as the hero of the plants. This pitcher plant wasn't like the plant present on earth rather it was several times larger than that, also this pitcher plant had tentacles as its roots, furthermore it had a green bubble present on its head."
" 'The Pitcher plant' started to eat the land animals directly with its large jaws while the underground rats were also attacked by its tentacles like roots. The roots first entangled the underground rats, then at the tip of the tentacle roots a short mouth with circular teeth opened which directly bit the rats and sucked all their essence ( body fluids like blood) completely dry. After doing all this the large bubble present on the head of the 'Pitcher plant' opened slightly at the top and released a green gas."
The green gas was fully made of only glucose variant, this gas is absorbed by the other plants which made their regeneration faster. As soon as a plant was eaten by an animal, it started regenerating faster than usual. Thus were able to stop their extinction.
"But the disaster just didn't stop at just that, rather the extinction cycle became reversed, the pitcher plant started to reproduce with the help of the green gases and also formed a green algae below it, which helped its roots to move forward with a sticky movement. The green gas containing glucose also began to change, the glucose first turned into fructose then changed into an unknown molecule of glucose which contained 10 times higher energy than the previous ones, thus termed as natural energies."
"This mutant gas helped the plants not only helped the plants grow faster but also stronger. Although the animals also absorbed these natural energies and turned into beast animals, they still didn't stand a chance against a large number of this pitcher plant, moreover their evolution rate was somewhat slower thus resulting in an another drawback."
"Soon a tide of pitcher plants began to raid on every part of the planet and eating all the beasts on their way. Now it clearly turned into a stage where the animals began to face the extinction phase, but as I said earlier when one door closes another one opens. The primeval humans who also faced their extinction calamity, started to evolve their mindset rapidly and soon invented fire by rubbing stones. Fire is the nemesis of all living beings, to begin with, so it helped humans to burn down the 'Pitcher plant' without any force, thus saving themselves."
"While some humans absorbed these natural energies and grew intelligent and stronger faster than others and took command of humanity to save the other beast from the plant grim reaper. At the last, the humans won the war by burning half of the grim reaper plants thus maintaining balance in the world."
"Later when the humans grew intelligent and powerful enough to travel another world they started to transport the grim reaper plants, thus giving birth to the 'Spirit plants' all over the world."
"The leader of the humans gave the 'pitcher plant' a new name of 'Primordial Spirit Plant' meaning the one and only originator and ancestor of spirit plants."
"To think that the spirit plants had such a history, it really amazes me the working of this world, who in the world just wrote the book, was it the Blood Emperor?" After reading the introduction of the spirits plants he thought to himself, every different world has different stories.
After turning the page he saw a life like picture of the 'Primordial Spirit Plant' which made him amazed and suddenly turned to look outside of the altar at green soil and wondered whether his guess was true or not. But then he shook his head and started to flip the pages of the book forward to know what else was written in this book.
The book specified various species of the spirit plants and their various uses and effects. After flipping ten pages he found a familiar looking spirit plant and identified it as the plant which he found at the depth of the spring water near the 'Genesis level indicator' crystal.
The name of the fruit which he ate was called 'Genesis Fruit'. The page further specified its details as
[This spirit plant grows at the deepest part of a water spring, after 10 years of its age it bears a fruit every year.]
[ The fruit can increase the cultivation of a sky realm genesis cultivator by one level and is used as a main ingredient in various alchemic recipes for genesis stage cultivators.]
After he finished reading the details of the 'Genesis fruit', he flipped two more pages before closing the book and placing in its shelf. "This book is very good for information about various spirit herbs, I'll take it outside with me when I leave this altar."
He picked up the second book from the second section of the same shelf. This book was thinner than compared to the first one by half a size and had a nametag of [Compendium of Beast- Part-1]. After opening the book he saw the same introduction about how the animals turned into beasts and further all records of various beasts. He closed this book also and thought of reading its contents later on.
After that, he picked up the book from the last section of the shelf which was even more slimmer than that of the second section by half and had a nametag of [Compendium of Human Body].
