"It's almost one and a half hours since I entered the prison..." Eli still walks in the dark place without the flames because once he lights up the fire, he will be the centre of attraction and he may not know what kind of Monsters will attack him next time.
So instead of flames, he used the Terra Arts so he could sense if anything came within the range of 3 meters on the land, and he would able to react spontaneously.
During this one hour, he did meet some monsters but they died without knowing what they hit by.
"Well, if it is a flying monster then...." Eli sweated a little bit.
He swung his Ember every 1 minute around 10 meters in order to find whether reached any wall or not.
