Whereas, In Devnagar city, the scene is different, the people of here are totally disconnected to the outside world or some of them are evacuating if they have somewhere else to go. However some theory among the public of the city getting popularity that maybe government might be behind of all of this
Here citizens have now stopped going outside after dark. All the shops and market closed at evening. No one trust each other, and even though they have stopped talking to each other. Police have gave up already as they are now least trusted companion around the city are left.
Some of group of people in the public begin to raise finger against the government for doing these murders and police is also involved in this, in the contrary it's hard for them to believe that a peaceful place can be turn out like this.
But for now, everything went quiet.
It's pretty unsettling for anyone to figure out that how little amount of coverage these murders are taking care into the outside media, barely anyone mentioning these incidents, it's like it doesn't matter, like everything is normal around this city and nothing to worry about causing, lower down of trust from the authorities which handling incidents.
The Devnagar City is totally abandoned by the others. The people are isolated and now public are leaving at mass level, some streets are totally quiet down. And some who doesn't wanted to leave because they got nowhere else to survive, they have accepted the fate.
Chief Nitin and the other associates have gather together at the hall of the police station where several groups of citizen have arrived in order to protest their anger is immense. Nitin trying to make hold the situation from not getting worse, he is ordering all other officers to not use any kind of force against them and just try to hold them from getting inside the station.
Few of them, among the public is throwing stones and grumbles inside the station causing trouble for everyone
Amit offers to use force against them but Nitin refuses that it might cause more rage between them and this is bad for all of there present, it is necessary for Nitin to take some measure steps to stop this before the situation gets out of the control
He takes the mic in his left hand while holding his gun in right hand, Nitin calls to stop it but it was obvious that no one listened, in the reaction Nitin left with no choice but to fire a gun, not at them but upward, so he could hinder this chaos.
And he does so, Nitin fires three shots continuously and it worked, all of them halts their action and situation are getting better, they all guard their attention toward Nitin. It is practically not regular to see the use of guns as usual police try to avoid it even though this is the small city not so large that it require complex system to maintain the crime late low. But listening the gun fire was quite new experience for them in real life.
Nitin walks further speaking directly through the mic
"We are doing our best, but this? This is not going to help any of you"
There's an old man around his late 60s, wearing pale dark color coat, he walks further. He seems to be quite energetic and furious although posses a muscular body.
"This is your best? You are doing nothing just sitting down there and wasting time, while those killers are killing our people and god knows who's the next?'
"We know that how things are going on currently but we are not god, but I promise you all that everything will be all right again as it was before, No one needs to panic or afraid just go home, we are patrolling twenty four an hour keeping an eye on every activity around the area, not a single street we are leaving everything corner of this city is now under our surveillance, but for now all I want from you all that don't let you kids and yourself alone and try to be together if there's not any important work then just stay inside"
"How long this is going be?"
"Look, we are working, these officer have not visited their family for the last 2 days and some of our officer are on the field, working day and night to make sure that no of this happen again, I only request you all to be patience and do not cause any further problem for us so we can make sure that you all should be safe and protected"
"You all are listening him, this officer have been promising since the day he arrived in this city, all he do is promising giving you false hope, he thinks we are fool and we can easily believe whatever bullshit he says"
Nitin was having a tough time keeping the crowd under control. The promises he used to make didn't seem to work anymore. He needed to show them some results, but it felt like he was losing his grip on the situation. There he stood, unsure of what else to do as the situation slipped away, much like sand through his fingers. He thought about his next steps, realizing he didn't have many options left.
One of them speaks out loudly gaining everyone's attention
"Is Arun behind all these murders?"
"we are investigating , weather he is involved or not, it is going to be find out soon but right now I want you all to go home and be safe"
"We all know Arun, he is good man he can't do these things someone trying to set him up"
"Well we don't know yet but again I am telling you all that we will soon reach the killer who is behind of this, I know whoever this person is, lives among us. If he or she is not alone or working in a group, I am telling you all, you can't escape, if you feel that you all are above the law I am telling you that you all will be spent their rest of your life in a four closed walls begging"
After this, the crowd finally settles down and they eventually left the place, all of them took relief after this but Nitin, Nitin's not. He haven't been slept from 3 days straight. And the failure to find any strong evidence are just enough to tear apart of patience of him.
His face looks tired, maybe he is experiencing headache moreover acts like he is the most active in the department there. Nitin always present himself as strong leader, someone that can be counted when the things get worse.
Nitin had the feeling from the very start that someone is trying to set up Arun, and he also knows that Rudra might be the actual person behind this, and only way to figure it out how, he needs to keep an eye on Arun.
It's been almost two days, since Arun was held captive in his own room. Nitin wants talk to him personally and somehow put him again on the field
He is sitting in the office currently looking at some files and picture that are randomly spreads on his desk, his whole office room is full of files and it's total mess.
Nitin picks up his phone calls the one officer who had putted in charge to guard Arun.
"It's Nitin"
"Yes sir!"
"Is everything all right there?"
"Here, it's normal nothing to worry, in fact Arun haven't been shown for hours form his room yet"
"What do you mean from hours?"
"Four hour ago, a female doctor showed up and she wanted to talk to Arun, we gave her permission but she left almost twenty minutes after, since he haven't show up, maybe he is sleeping"
"I want you to check on him right now!"
"Sir! It's all right he is still inside we can hear the sound coming from his TV"
"Just do what I said, I am on the line"
"Ok!"
Both of them standing in front of door, 'Arun! Come out we need to see you'
After calling for several time, still they haven't received any response yet even though they knocked again and again for more than two minutes simultaneously, however soon they figure out something is odd here.
'Sir, he is not opening the door'
'You have the keys?'
'Yes we do'
'Then open it'
'But sir?'
'Do what I says, open the door right now!'
The two officers entered the room. As they walked through the hall, everything appeared to be in its usual state. In the room, the television was still on, casting its glow. One of the officers proceeded to the kitchen while the other reported, "He is not present here, sir."
Nitin's frustration grew palpable. With a stern tone, he issued a direct order to all those in the vicinity, instructing them to meticulously search every nook and cranny.
