After being hit by the rocket, Miku was a bit disoriented and her vision was hazy but she was looking for Kaneki.

Kaneki said as he was still conscious.

Kaneki: That man tried to shoot us with a rocket, and since there was no way for me to counter it without it exploding near you cough! I-I encased us with these wings and... Used more of Dread and Sorrows power to protect you.
Miku: But you're turning into stone!

As Kaneki was slowly turning more into stone, he smiled and told Miku.

Hinata went inside the giant stone ball that Kaneki made and watched everything that happened inside.
He was saddened to see Kaneki almost completely turning to stone and Miku crying.

Hinata was shocked, even with tears flowing down her cheeks Miku made a determined face and hearing her not giving up on Kaneki surprised Hinata.
