Miku: should we call Mom and Dad?
Kaneki: eh? Why? Is something wrong?
As Kaneki and Miku were having breakfast, Miku suddenly made a suggestion to call their parents.
Miku: not really, it's just we haven't really called them ever since they left, and the only time we called them was when you wanted to show Dad Batta.
Realizing that Miku was right Kaneki looked down at his plate with a guilty expression.
Kaneki: oh damn... We're so horrible, we didn't call them for an entire month...
Miku: hey calm down Onii-chan, we can just call them later you know?
Kaneki: hopefully they don't hate us...
Miku: Hehe~ don't worry. Let's finish our breakfast so we can call them.

Kaneki was really worried about how their parents would react to him not calling them for a long time.
They continued to eat until they finished breakfast, after finishing breakfast they washed the dishes and then went to the living room.

Atsuo left as well.

Atsuo: well it's almost time for us to sleep.

Kaneki: she told me not to tell you but even then, I didn't understand a single thing she said.
Miku: seriously? Sigh~ well atleast we got to talk to our parents.

Miku: so uhh... You wanna go training for the 3 legged race? We can use our yard.
