Currently he is heating up the furnace to melt metal for his weapon in a way that surprised everyone in the basement.
Yukiya: amazing, he's using dragons breath? How is this possible?
Azusa: most likely a artificial ability of his, but his flames are hotter than normal dragon breath.

At the other side.

Kaneki was continuously breathing out fire at the furnace and putting metal in it for 3 minutes but due to the heat all the metal in it had already melted.
Shino: huh?! All the metal he's put in there has melted already?! It's only been a minute.
Itsuki: seriously? How hot is his flames anyways? This so impressive
Natsuki: what's more impressive is that he's still breathing out those flames. By now he would've lost all the air in his lungs.

They continued to watch as Kaneki was still heating up the furnace.

Shino: oh yeah, Kamakura did say that.
Shiho & Sachi: What?!

Kaneki used his tentacles to put tip the furnace and spilling all the molten metal on the floor.
Shiho: hey what are you doing?! That's dangerous!

Kaneki then went to the wall.
Kaneki: Arachne arts, spider legs.
He attached himself to the pits walls using his spider legs.
Head maid: what is this child doing?! This is so dangerous!
Yukiya: holdup let him cook.
Everyone looked at Yukiya with confused faces.
Yukiya: really? That was a very popular term a few years ago with the kids.
Shiho: don't do that again please.
Yukiya: okay okay.
They then put their attention back to Kaneki.

Miku: wait, it's not fire.
Keiko: then what is it?

As the steam cleared they were able to see Kaneki again.

Yukiya: normally the metal would've stayed in it's liquid state for a while due to its intense heat but now it's in what we call the just right state, it's a state where we can shape the metal to what ever we desire.

Shiho: though your ways of making it was questionable, this sword looks very high quality. And it's blade is very sharp too.
Yukiya: it's very durable and it even has an ability imbued in it too. I'd say you pass the first trial in record time.

Kaneki: how long exactly is the previous record on making a weapon?
Azusa: an hour and 20 minutes.
Kaneki: woah. And how long was mine?

Yukiya: so what do you want to name this weapon?

Yukiya: alright... Ahem! Alright then now you'll have to battle against Shino-chan here to a trial of combat with your weapon and if you are able to take away her weapons than you win.
