normally parents would love their kids right and to parents their kids are their world but for me I was my parents Hellfire.
I still remember it when I was still a baby my parents were never happy to see me they would often starve me and they would even feed me expired milk.
My parents weren't good parents but even then I still loved them. when I was in kindergarten i always had bandages because of the injuries I get at home.
the kids there always called me bad names like Yuri The Mummy or burnt face because I had a burnt mark on my face because my father placed a steam iron on the right side of my face.
honestly I didn't mind them bullying me but when they speak ill about my parents i would get mad and fight back but I get in trouble because of it.
and when my parents heard about it they would always punish me. I try to get their love by being the top in my class I'm kind of smart so I was unrivaled but still they won't love me.
when we are in public they act like loving parents but when we are home they act like monsters.
but no matter how much they hurt me I never cried because i believed one day they would love me.
i thought in order for them to love me i have to endure everything they throw at me honestly I was wrong overtime the injuries I got worse everyday until Jr. high. that's where I met Higanbana-kun and his friends.
Chikao: but I don't really remember 3 of their names besides Saki-chan and Higanbana-kun.
Itsuki: Saki?
Kaneki: she meant Sachi.
Natsuki: i see.
where was i again? oh right I met Higanbana-kun's friends I was a bit cold to them at first because i thought they thought of themselves as someone superior for being nice to someone really injured like me and I thought they were really petty for that
but they were really nice to me and were genuinely concerned for my safety they would always say something like "Hey if you get better let's do a dance practice i assure you it's going to be fun!" or "let's play some games Yuri-Onee!"or "hey I got data on how you could get better just follow these instructions so you could heal faster" and I hope you get better you're a good girl after all".
Keiko & Natsuki: wow they really do sound nice.
Yeah that's true and then they introduced me to Higanbana-kun i thought he was a girl back as well he had shorter hair around 20cm but when he talked I was a bit shocked not only that he looked kinda depressed.
we sometimes talk but he always looked at my injuries with a surprised face.
then he came and talked to me when his friends weren't around. we had a conversation that went:
Kaneki: why are you lying about the injuries you get "i always get into accidents because I'm clumsy" that's obviously a lie, i still can't believe that those 4 are being fooled by that lie.
Chikao: I'm sorry i got them worried about me so I had to-
Kaneki: YOU KNOW YOU SHOULDN'T DO THAT!
Higanbana-kun was distressed he didn't take me lying to his friends lightly.
Chikao: i.. I'm sorry.
i honestly thought Higanbana-kun would hurt me at that moment but.
Kaneki: sigh~ fine I'll allow it but please tell me the truth on why you have these injuries I'm seriously worried that you would die.
he was also concerned about me so I had no choice but to tell him the true story.
Chikao: so you don't have to worry about me I can endure it.
i thought he wouldn't react to my story but instead his right eye was tearing up then he said.
Kaneki: I'll tell the CPS-
But I didn't want that.
Chikao: No don't!
Kaneki: why? what's your reason?
i was going to say "because I love my parents" but I had a different answer, my "real" reason.
Chikao: because if they get caught I'll be taken away and I won't see those 4 and you again! those 4 were genuinely caring to me and despite not being friends or being close to me you always helped me with my injuries ...i don't want to lose the only people who cared about me.
Kaneki: alright calm down I won't tell the CPS.
Chikao: thank you!
Kaneki: but if you're really hurt tell us ok?
despite not being friends, Higanbana-kun was willing to help me.
Natsuki: i think it's in his nature.
Yeah you're probably right.
I still had my normal life with those 5 then around October 5 i stopped going to school for a week because my parents decided to sell me I was hurt so much because my own parents were willing to sell me and I won't be able to see my 4 friends and my emotional support animal.
Kaneki: yeah I knew you thought of me as an emotional support animal... sorry for interrupting please continue.
then around the night of October 13 when my parents were beating me for one last time my life flashed before my eyes then i closed my eyes. i thought I was going to die i closed my eyes then... he came.
Chikao's mom: alright let's get her to the buyer now-
*CRASH*
Chikao's dad: wha-
*Slash!*
Hero: venom arts, paralysis slash!
i could barely see but the Hero took down my parents and then he called the authorities.
Hero: human traffickers at ***** street at the Chikao residence the suspects are the parents of The middle schooler Chikao Yuri I'll wait here until authorities help arrives.
Then he looked at me and said something like "don't worry I'll heal your injuries now".
but i refused.
Chikao: if you... heal me now they won't believe you.
The next thing I knew I woke up in the hospital. he was there too I don't remember much after that but he told me.
Hero: your friend found me and told me to save you so I had to help and don't worry you'll stay here at Shimotsuki I asked someone to provide for you until you get your own apartment to live in and I'll also send you some money so you could live a bit comfortably. this is probably the last time you'll see me.
after that he left and I was able to live in an apartment thanks to the money he gave me.
