"He wouldn't care. He doesn't like me." Alaric said, dropping the bomb.
"He's an outcast." Zadkiel added on before saying, "So you're admitting you're dating."
"She didn't mean that kind of 'with me.'..did she?"Alaric's brows skyrocketed.
"Aww if you weren't a vampire. I'd say you are blushing." Zadkiel snickered and shook his head.
Ari looked at Alaric before covering her mouth with a hand trying to stifle her laughter. "Well no, but yes but like no. That's not what I meant but..aren't we?"
"I'm confused." Alaric said.
Zadkiel laughed so hard he grabbed his face. "Idiot."
Alaric opened his mouth and was interrupted by someone approaching.
"Ari. We are ready for you to enter so we can deliver your verdict." A short man wearing a tailcoat didn't smile or blink, stood before her.
