Ari blinked, her eyes struggling to adjust to the darkness. She sat up straining to see Benji. There was no way to tell where they were or how she'd even gotten there. For the first time she was genuinely afraid that he might try to hurt her. "What's going on?"
"I'll be keeping you for today until I decide what to do." He tapped his foot on the floor, gaze crimson within the dark like an undying flame. "Maybe the Menagerie may do something. They are taking their sweet time."
