He slowly got to his feet and his eyes moved around in obvious search of something. After a short while, his sight caught a sword lying not too far from him. The sword had automatically deactivated its ability as soon as the explosion with the void occurred.
Max took slow yet steady steps in the direction of the sword but before his hand could reach out for it, the sword levitated from Max's sight.
"What the hell?" He was filled with wonder as to how and when the sword could have developed such ability but his thoughts were soon proved wrong.
"Oooh, that's one good-looking sword. The perfect one to slice some meat."
Max's eyes trailed in the direction the sword had floated off to and his jaws dropped.
"What in the world?" He could do nothing but let out an exclamation.
What was before him was the strangest thing he had come across in the game.
