The lobby had switched to a place that was brooded with dark clouds and a grey sky that continuously rumbled as if about to release a heavy yet endless downpour of rain.
At a distance not too far from where Max stood amid a fairly large crowd of players whose number had recently dropped to 50 through the course of three game rounds, stood a tower that pierced through the clouds, barely making even its end visible to the players. Engraved circularly around it from the bottom to the part the players could see before the clouds, were spines that were of the same colour as the dull bricks.
"Holy cow," Max was left in a daze at first glance at the dark tower.
