"What do you mean you don't want us to know?" Kayla sounded even more serious this time.
"Kayla..." Mrs. Addison was immediately cut short by her father.
"Why did you have to spoil the surprise, Beatrice?" He facepalmed himself.
Mrs. Addison remained speechless. She was able to understand what game her father was playing at.
"What surprise, Grandpa?" Kayla didn't look quite convinced.
The old man stood up from where he sat beside Max's body and walked up to the young girl. He slid his hand into his sleeves and pulled out a small package.
"You know what this is?" He pouted with an air of pride hovering around him.
Kayla's mouth dropped and her pupils dilated.
