And that was when they knew and affirmed that the blackout was not just the While Nazi going into a malfunction, it was something more. The While Nazi only prevented the city from experiencing nighttime and as such did not affect daytime. If the While Nazi were not put to use time, was supposed to take its normal course and the day would take a turn before it would metamorphose into the night. But this time around the day was prevented and the whole city was plunged into darkness with the moon and stars still engraved in the sky.
