"I think you should come with me."
Lenora's voice interrupted his thoughts and he turned his head in her direction.
She was already on a circular beam board, waiting for him to join her.
"Yeah, sure. Perhaps this should be better than running," Max released a sigh of relief as he hopped onto the board.
The monster of gliding lava was almost as fast as the flying surfboard they were on. It even had to increase its speed just to kill them.
As they moved over the large surface of the lava pool, the monster leaped into the pool and a splash wave of lava shot into the sky, heading back to the pool as fast as it had left. Max quickly activated his Fire boundary, knowing fully well that the return of the hot flame would only burn them alive. Even he wasn't so sure that he could regenerate after coming in contact with lava.
The chase continued.
