The Rimdial was meant to heal Cheryl but now something uncalled for had happened. Lenora getting bit by discolourising vines was a shock and also called for immediate attention. Max could only think of himself standing on a thin rope above water.
There was no way they would go on a second journey to find another Rimdial for Cheryl. And that was due to several reasons. The first being that Lenora's life was currently at stake and they were together on this journey. If Lenora died in the Verboten, Max knew very well that he would not be able to exit the place since its structure was always complicated.
