"Max?"
The figure slowly turned around in her direction.
"Max," Lenora shook her head and released a sigh of relief. "I've been looking for you all over."
"Sorry, I was looking for a way out since the hole back there was rather high to go back through," Max simply replied with an assuring smile to show that he was fine.
"I see," Lenora said as she walked closer to him with her staff in her hand. "You made it this way so fast. How did you even do that?'
"I'm been working on my speed lately and also, I don't want to die. Remember your words? If I don't hurry up, I'm most definitely gonna die and so I did as you told," Max shrugged as he watched her come closer.
Within a short frame of time, she had already gotten in front of him.
"Shall we?" Max gave a gentlemanly bow.
Lenora stared at his head for some reason and in a flash sunk the bottom of her staff into it, causing the end to burst out from his face.
