After idling in her room for a few hours, Delaney decided to look around the house for any sort of amusement, because she realised she hadn't really been anywhere else other than her room and downstairs, where she usually had her meals with the rest.
Leaving her room, she locked the door behind her and stood there for a while, pondering on where to start. The quietness in the house revealed that there was no one else, but she could still hear Tracy and Amanda gossiping somewhere outside.
She looked to the side where other rooms were located, and from the few days she had been residing with this family, she learnt that everyone slept on the second floor. But there was also another floor and she decided to check what was there.
Her bare feet padded across the hardwood floor, barely making any sound as she climbed up the stairs.
