Delaney could feel her feet hurting as she walked ahead on pebbled ground. The houses she had seen from high up now came to view but before her eyes could wander further, faces of men and women started to block her view. Unlike demons who had pale complexions, dragons had dark skin tones and their dressing was much more revealing.
With her heart pounding, Delaney's steps briefly slowed down and she gripped the hem of her dress as the men and women seemed to close in on her. Their eyes held contempt and disdain and she couldn't help but feel panicked. She was now in a third different world and she received the same treatment.
"W–What are you doing? I'm his mate." She stuttered in an attempt to save herself and even though they weren't planning on attacking her, it still worked because they stopped moving closer. None of them said anything and Delaney was quick to ran off, walking around the group hastily.
