I was not meant for reality but then life came and found me. - Fernando Pessoa

That night Keir went to bed with a light heart. He didn't know if there would come a day when he would willingly forgive Merikh, but deep down he knew he should let things go. But Delaney was a problem he brought upon himself and she was the only person creating a battle in his mind. He drifted off to sleep with thoughts of his sister occupying his mind.
The following morning, Keir woke up as usual and went on with his business. But in the evening, Alex came to report that Delaney had not left her room since morning.
"So?" Keir asked nonchalantly and Alex lowered his gaze, not wanting to meet his prying eyes.
"She has not eaten since yesterday," Alex muttered.
"You could just go and wake her up. Or bring food to her room, why do you need to report that to me?"
