Erich awoke early the next morning. Just like in his previous life, he had neglected to show up to his "first day at the Naval Academy", and instead spent it at Yumi's hotel room. Of course, he was not so foolish enough as to post any record of their little dalliance on the grid.
As for Yumi, she treated Erich differently this time around. She did not simply kick him out in the morning without even saying farewell. Instead, she clung tightly to him as he prepared himself for the day that was ahead of him. Making sure to spend every moment she could in physical intimacy.
