I always looked at her from afar, and every time I saw her or even thought about her, my heart would thump. A girl with silver hair and blue eyes - you might say Vance feelings are wrong and immoral, but as the days without her passed, my love for her grew stronger. To the point where I would do things with my body at night while thinking of her.
I was willing to give my life just to be with her for a moment, but it wasn't possible. Whether it's because I'm really a low person or lack confidence, I see her as a god, and being with her is an unimaginable event for me. Either way, even from her cold behavior, I could tell she had no inclination towards me. But still, I couldn't suppress my feelings for her.
Day and night, I read fantasy novels at home and immersed myself in my own world. I strongly believed in myths, even if my imagination caused harm to myself and my body. However, this was still my only source of entertainment and reason to live.
Although sword making is our family business, and generations have continued the same work, I had no interest in it. In fact, I had no interest in anything in this world except for her and only her. If I had the chance to be with her, I would do anything. I was ready to abandon years of laziness and live with her in a beautiful world.
I never went to school, had no friends in the village, and had nothing to lose in this world. I would spend hours on end sitting in my room lost in thought or passing out from exhaustion. In the fantasy stories I read, an exciting event would always occur and the characters would make a wish that would come true. During the nights when both moons were full, I would stare at the sky and when I saw a shooting star, I would make a wish. Ever since I heard this legend, every night when both moons were full, I would gaze at the sky until morning in hopes of seeing a shooting star.
Tonight, just like every other night, I am on the highest hill of the village staring at the full moons with despair. It's an exciting prospect, but my eyes were starting to close due to exhaustion when suddenly, I saw a shooting star with a tail. My heart was pounding with excitement. I raised my hands and made a loud wish, "Whatever happens, it doesn't matter. I'm content as long as I can spend the rest of my life with Ada."
After making my wish, the shooting star changed direction and headed towards our village. I was a bit worried, but the chances of it colliding with the village were slim. Moments passed and the shooting star got closer and closer. I started to feel the danger, but with my exhausted body, I couldn't go and warn anyone. So, I lay down on the ground and watched the scene unfold.
The shooting star crashed into our village, right on top of our house. All the houses in the surrounding area turned to ashes in an instant. I ran to my house in a panic, but it was too late. No living being was left in that area. I was devastated and lost. This marked the beginning of the next stage of my life.
The morning came, and I went near to Ada's house. She lived alone, but she was always busy with her daily chores outside. We knew each other, but we weren't that close. Her cold demeanor made it hard to approach her. She hadn't left her house yet, and as I was walking down her house's street, I suddenly saw her running towards me. Her attention was elsewhere, and we collided. She quickly apologized and wanted to leave, but a notebook with a heart design and golden chains fell from her bag. I picked it up and asked if it was hers. As I picked it up from the ground, the pages fluttered in the wind, and I saw the designs inside. I saw drawings of human torture and people behaving like animals. And then, I saw a drawing of myself.
As she blushed and looked down, she nodded in agreement and reached out her hand to retrieve the notebook. I gathered all my strength and told her not to be ashamed of those designs and that I actually liked them. After a few moments of silence, she lifted her head and revealed that she knew about my family's death. She offered me to spend the night at her house over dinner and even had a spare room that I could rent and pay for later if I needed a place to stay.
Although I was taken aback by her response, I agreed and left the streets to head to her house. Throughout the night, we talked and ate colorful foods, including all my favorites. It felt like a dream, but like all dreams, it had to come to an end. After we finished eating, I started to feel dizzy and gradually passed out. The next thing I knew, I woke up to find myself tied up with a bunny suit on and hanging from the ceiling with a rope. Ada was there, dressed in an attractive black bikini, with only a purple light illuminating the room.
She turned to me with a terrifying yet alluring smile and said, "Vance, you don't know how many times I've imagined this happening in my mind." My mouth went dry, and although I wasn't fully conscious and my head was spinning, I was shocked and unable to speak or move.
