They were told that the tournament would start off with an elimination or qualifying round, where each participants from different countries would be pit up against each other and the winner will advance to the main stage. Any country that was unfortunate to be completely eliminated in the qualifiers will be sent home immediately and will not see the end of the tournament.
If the number of participants from each country turn out to be uneven in the main stages, it will cease to be a tournament between countries and will end up becoming a tournament between individuals with individual prizes for the top three participants. While the prizes will be revealed at the beginning of the main stages.
