Yana watched as the tiny pixie flitted about, its wings a blur of motion.
"Who are you?" Yana asked, a hint of suspicion in her voice.
The pixie giggled. "I'm just a friendly pixie, looking for a little fun. What brings you to these woods?"
"I'm on a journey," Yana replied. "A journey to discover my destiny."
The pixie's grin widened. "Oh, how exciting! And do you have any idea what that destiny might be?"
Yana shook her head. "No, I don't. But I know that I have a gift, a power that I must use for good."
The pixie's expression turned serious. "Ah, yes. Your gift. It's a dangerous thing, you know."
Yana narrowed her eyes. "What do you mean?"
The pixie landed on a nearby rock, its wings still fluttering. "Well, let's just say that there are those who would like to use your gift for their own purposes. You must be careful, Yana."
Yana nodded, her hand still resting on her staff. "I know. But I won't let anyone use my powers for evil."
