"This is the test subject you have for me?" Puffer asked in a strange voice.
I just gave a simple nod in response with a serious look on my face.
I could tell that she wasn't satisfied with the test subject that I brought. I could tell that she wanted me to change this test subject.
Only I didn't react the way that she wanted.
I just calmly waited for her to speak again.
After a long silence, Puffer finally said with a sigh, "Don't blame me if this doesn't work. After all, this thing isn't even a living thing, so I don't know if it will even be able to accept the elemental energy."
I had the same calm look on my face as I said, "I can't give you living test subjects, so this is the best that I can do. Regardless of what happens, this is the best that I can do."
Seeing the look on her face, I added, "As if you aren't interested in what will happen. You can't fool me with this act."
