The giant asura quickly released the weapons that had been stuck and then gathered its corruption energy to form new weapons when it saw Alidus charging at it.
The speed that it moved at was much faster than anything else that it had done.
This just went to show how much fear and respect it was showing to the power that Alidus wielded.
Though it wasn't wrong for it to show this kind of fear and respect since that club of his had smashed through the demon commanders in one blow previously.
Only the new corruption energy weapons that the giant asura created were weaker than the ones that it had before. These ones were created too quickly without having time to gather the corruption energy, so there wasn't enough corruption energy in it to match the might of the club.
Alidus swung his club right through these corruption energy weapons, shattering them and purifying them at the same time.
