The others that had come with us revealed frowns the moment that they heard this.
Especially the royal guards that had come with me and had been sticking close to me the entire time.
They weren't happy that the high elf was requesting to talk to me alone.
But in the end, I said, "Alright, I'll talk to you alone."
Though they didn't seem like they were happy about this, they couldn't say anything in front of the high elf. They knew what would happen if they were to speak up against me in front of the high elf.
At least in front of them, they had to put on a united front.
