Ji Sung slippered on the wave of people at the Traveler Association mansion's main hall. It's tight. It is hard to breathe—too much commotion. The whole situation reminded him of grade announcements in high school. Many times he was almost foundered before reaching a quest board.
Six monstrous oval wooden boards cover almost the entire wall. Every board was titled Quest grade S until D. Many papers were pinned there, arranged neatly for anyone to scan.
Ji Sung rubbed his chin as he studied every question his eyes caught. The quest description overwhelmed him, let alone the procedure is written there. He looked for the higher price before pulling many quest papers and pushing out of the crowd.
"Ji Sung, come here." Yuki waved while tiptoed on the crowd.
Ji Sung caved as he slowly came to Yuki. "Done. I brought my quest paper. And…." he checked his system table.

"Wait, why is my quest empty?"
"That's because you need to register it there." Yuki repositioned Ji Sung at a long table maintained by four Feilin. "You must register there before it can appear on your System table. Come on, let us try."
They wrecked their way in the line at the front of a long table. Three Feilin were buried with their laptops while two others greeted people who stood in the line.
"Yuki?" Young Feilin wolf ears girl smiles with earnestness, come with papers work. "I thought Uncle already contracted you to work on the ranch."
"Well, I'm helping my friend here. Wait a minute, wait, wait." Yuki snatched Ji Sung's quest paper and read through it as he frowned deeply.
"Is there anything wrong?" asked Feilin, behind the table. Ji Sung had the same question.
"This quest, SS grade and S grade needed a party. You can't take it." Yuki pulled a lot of paper, then pushed it on Ji Sung's face. "And this single quest, hunting a black dragoon, you can't do it."
"What, why? Look, it has a 100 gold coin as a reward and—"
"And you can't beat a dragon with your current level. I beat you stuck on level two or five, right."
"Two." Ji Sung blushed. "But I can—"
"Trust me. It won't work. Don't waste your time, money, and life."
He tried to diminish Ji Sung's prowers, mocking him as weak. Usually, Ji Sunh would get insulted, but not now. Not in this world full of systems, a world that looks like an MMORPG he loved playing. He is like a new player being told by a high-level player how to do anything right now.
"And how about that quest." Ji Sung, pointing to S grade quest, "Sure, it would be easy, right? And that 25 gold—"
"It would be a month's journey between Moonlake and Harran City. Not to mention there are a lot of bandits on the way."
He had beaten many Purelist before, so what a difference. "I could handle it."
"It must be a party for at least four men. Yet, we're only two."
"Two experienced gamers who know a lot of stuff," said Ji Sung as he observed the last man standing at the front of a table, preparing a paper. He and Yuki must wait for a while.
Yuki crossed his hand and flatly sneered at Ji Sung. "Let me guess. You think this is a game. Guarding NPC from point A to B and doing scripted battles?"
Ji Sung's smile was enough for that answer.
"No, my friend, no. It is different. It's complicated."
Ji Sung moaned hard as he moved forward slowly after the man in front of him registered quest. "So what should we do? Every quest with good reward is forbidden by… you."
"I allow you. I just tried to ensure you didn't waste time doing meaningless things. You should be started from the button. Here."
[Quest grade B. Since the Kar was comprehensive, we recommended partying.
Objective: Clear the dungeon on Kar foothill.
Minner association found goblins created a nest there and made mining operation stall. Two minutes are already dead.
Deadline: Unlimited
Reward: 5 gold coins.]
"We could ask others for help." Yuki pulled out his quest paper, and before he could put it on the table, someone bumped him hard from behind, almost like pushing. Luckily Ji Sung held on to Yuki before he fell.
"Move it, shrimp, you were blocking my way!" A Burly man in plate armor strode with his five friends.
Sure, a long line was behind them, but they just stood there trying to register quest.
The Burly man snatched the paper from Yuki's hand. He then smirked smugly. "Administration, here, our new quest! Clearing dungeon on a foot-mounted hill!"
"Hei asshole," Ji Sung said. "That our quest gives it back."
"Bah, it's everyone's quest. Ho, grab some there." A burly man pointed at a crowded quest board. "I don't want to taint myself there."
"How about we join the party?" Yuki suggested.
"Partied with ranch boy? Haha, don't joke around, prick!" The burly man barked, smashing the table. "Hurry up, Cat ears. We didn't have time here!!"
Ji Sung petted his ring. Before the katana would emerge, Yuki stole his hand away. "Let it go, He high-level warrior class. It's just a quest paper. Let me have that quest paper again."
"Wait, we can apply the same quest that others already registered?"
"Sure. Whoever is faster wins." Yuki threw himself into the sea of people.
"You better find another quest," said the Burly man. "This quest would be finished in one day."
Ji Sung answered, "Let's see, who done that first, Bitch."
Five of them stared back at Ji Sung with firefly eyes. The Burly man pushed Ji Sung back. "Shirmp like you, what you can do?"
"Just remind you," said the Feline girl behind the table. "If you make a scene here, consequences will await you."
"Let it go, Jo Dan Tae, beated them now, was not worth it."
Jo Dan Tae, Ji Sung will remember that name.
