Meanwhile, many hours ago. After Ahsak discovered someone was shadowing Theo, he got in hot pursuit. He knew it was useless to call the guard. Even he had a hard time catching up, let alone them.
It was useless to call her off. He must catch her and discover who she is, who she works for, and why.
As they raced in a lusty-green forest, they hardly made any sounds while blowing away many fallen leaves.
The girl on full dark spandex covered her slim petite body, hair, and mouth, but not her cat ears. That alone told Ahsak if she was a Feilin, just like him.
The mysterious girl moved like a cheetah, hard to follow, let alone to catch.
Ahsak rubbed his ring. Now, he had six kunai on hand. While on chase, he threw four kunai at the girl while holding two on the right and left.
The girl jumped and twisted, using two tanto, a small katana, to withstand every kunai that tried to reach her, then continued to run.
Ahsak, pulling his string, called back every kunai stuck in the ground and trees without slowing his footwork.
He almost landed on the shuriken mine. He propped himself at the tree and evaded it.
That girl was probably a Scout Class.
He had an idea. He threw two of his kunai, connected by a thin string, and preceded the girl in hoping to entangle her feet.
As he threw his kunai, she jumped off, evading it.
Thinking fast, Ashak threw another two kunai and pushed the mysterious girl to twist her body for withstand his attack on the sky, wasting her precious time.
Ashak jumped with his remaining two kunai and tried to slash her. He cacting her off guard, succeeded slicing her upper right-hand spandex sleeve, but not enough to pierce her skin.
For a moment, their eyes were meet, so close that he could count her eyelashes. Such a beautiful green eyes, and she smells good.
The smell of green leaves, the aroma of nature that was so alluring, made him want to sniff more of her scent closer.
He snapped when realized she tried to kick on his belly. He caught and twisted her feet. Unlucky for him, her other foot smashed his cheek instead, throwing him on the tree.
Just before he hit the tree, his feet landed there, throwing himself back toward the girl that already landed on ground.
Ashak activated his Cryo Stone that he wore as a necklace. The girl also started using Dendro's power.
Cyro, the zero, iced power, created a chili air around them that froze many leaves.
At the same time, Dendro makes the leaf-sharped and help her fight back.
After exchanging many blows, Ashak caught the girl's feet with his kunai string. Too far from each other, the girl's feet would snap. Ashak push her to fight at close range.
Clank, clank, clank.
Kunai and tanto clashes create sparks. He won't allow her to leave without questioning her first. They wasted many hours fighting and their stamina was nearly drained.
Trying to catch his breath, Ashak smiled wide. He can't move his eyes from her apple size blossom covered on wet dark spandex, such a sexy body that make his groin hard. Such an almost perfect girl. "You are a good fighter, Miss."
But she didn't answer while tried to release her feet from kunai string that linked to another kunai on Ashak's hand.
"Who are you, who do you work with, and why? I promise I will not catch or pursue you any longer if you tell me."
The girl evaded his eyes entirely as she tried to break a string on her feet with a tanto.
Ashak laughing, sat leaning on the three crossed away from the girl. "I bet you are a charming girl."
It looks like she knew if she talked, Ashak would memorize her voice, and that would be bad for her.
"You can't break that string easily. That string had a Cyro element. You need Pyro to break it. Or a simple fire would work. Didn't you have a flint or lighter? Great."
Ashak moved closer and tried to pull his strings to release her, but her Tanto was pointed at his chest, right on the heart. For her gaze, he knew she wanted to push her tanto deeper.
"You didn't want my help, fine." Ashak returns to his tree, passing a lighter. "There, use that."
The lighter bounced on the ground between them. Like a cat being offered food by a stranger, the girl gazed but didn't budge. Even if she needed it, she was not moving an inch from there, not once.
For many minutes they were there, enjoying a rustling leaf and warm breeze. The sky slowly becomes yellow as the sun moves to the horizon.
That girl was tough.
"I am enjoying nature, you know. It is so vibrant with life and color, unlike our world that advances. Machines and technologies are everywhere. We hardly had a chance to breathe fresh air. Fresh air only for those rich bastards, as fellow Feline, do you agree? I love it here. I love everything that comes from nature."
The girl still stuck and raised her weapon, ready to strike. Ashak pulls his string and puts her in pain.
"Don't move too much. You could break your sweet feet. Since you had a nice aroma, I am in a good mood. Here, I'll give you a chance."
Ashak threw his kunai on the ground between them. "There, relieve yourself. Go on. I promise I will not do anything." He put down the rest of his kunai.
In no time, she releases herself from the Cyro string before disappearing into the darkness.
Pulling his hair back while leaning on three, Ahsak laughed as the sun illuminated his handsome face. "Not even a single word came from yours, heh. I have become dumb lately."
A kunai landed next to his feet, and he caught another targeting his chest. There was paper rolled on it. Curiously he read it.
[Thank You.]
Simple words made Ashak happily smile. "You're welcome, My lady."
