The quest ended. They had every goblin's ears as proof. Now, how to get out of the cave? Fatigue outnumbered them. They debated the best way to escape.
Titus wants to end everything by charging and killing Joo Dae Tae. He had a problem with that smug model in real life. Dae Tae fell in love with Titus' wife, and he always tried to sabotage their relationship. Now he brought that to another level.
Wedge wanted to rule them in and counter ambushed, yet, that probably would leave Dae Tae alive for another day, as everyone knew his cowardice behavior. He probably would never enter the cave—Titus against it.
Bigs argued they should give up. He thinks it was all about the quest, not personal. Yet he can't guarantee everything goes smoothly after they give up.
"So, is it always like this?" Ji Sung whispered as he kept a faithful eye on those three.
"No, not really. Normally everything would fall on the proper palace, but many months ago, everything changed. That is because Dae Tae tried to ruin Titus' family." Yuki washed goblin blood from his crossbow and bolt. "I have a plan, but it would be risky."
"Tell me then."
"They sure knew our number. Except they missed you." Yuki's tone got serious as he kept an eye on the crossbow.
"Tell us, Yuki!" Wedge's sharp ear captured Yuki's soft voice. Now, everyone waited for him to speak out about his plan. Perhaps it was going to work magically.
"You all charge. They must have thought four of yours was all of us. As they charge out, I will pick them individually from inside the cave. Joo Dae Tae would be dead."
"You can't kill a Goblin, let alone people." Bigs knew the best about his friend's behavior.
"Yes, I can't, but you all can. I will cripple them, then you all could pick them one by one. Easy fight."
"What is different from my plan? " Titus said.
"The difference is, he makes us bait. It becomes all bait." Wedge twisted his neck on Ji Sung." Noobie, can we count on you?"
Dangerous job for a newster like him, but Ji Sung nodded anyway.
It looks like everyone trusts each other well. In this situation, usually, people would doubt each other. Yet, they are not even questioning loyalty.
Besides, Ji Sung had faith in his new ability. If they stayed longer, they would run out of supply, worsening the situation.
They walk toward the entrance, ready to execute Yuki's plan.
He had a short ax in his right-hand buckled shield on the left. All Ji Sung got from the dead Goblin. Trembled, felt like an ant face against the mighty tiger, he started doubting himself. Is it the right choice?
"Don't fear, Noobie." Wedge placed a dagger on Ji Sung's waist back. "If everything goes south, you run. We will buy time for you."
"Sorry for dragging you into this shit." Titus bites a long cloth, tying the sword hilt on his palm. Ready to die. He did not allow his sword to go away in battle. "If I die, tell my wife everything. Tell her never to forgive Joo Dae Tae."
"You will survive," Yuki said. "We will see another day together. Keep the morale up, ya."
"Act casually." Wedge opened their path, laughing hard. "Those goblins are weak, like Joo Dae Tae. They trembled to face us."
Bigs and Titus came second, and Ji Sung the last.
"I wonder if Joo Dae Tae had a small dick," Titus yelled as he knew the man heard him. "like the last goblin we were slaying. That prick never could satisfy any woman."
"I hear his modeling career sucks, maybe because he is bad at his job," Ji Sung tried to lure it off. "You know, Joo Dae Tae was born from a bitch. No one knew who his father was."
"You bastard!" Joo Dae Tae hollers from behind the bush. He even showed up and pointed a finger at Ji Sung. "Take that word back, Take it back, or I swear I will flyed you alive!"
"Now, attack!" ordered the other one.
Ji Sung copied Wedge weapon proficiency and regained his ability to use an ax minus half.
//weapon proficiency +232//
The whistle came behind the bush, but Biggs quickly shielded those arrows. He charged toward three men armed with swords.
Wedge's great ax swung frantically, but two men dodged by ducking.
Yuki counter-reacted to those whistle arrows. His bolt stayed true and had a cleaning shot on two targets, yet he aimed for the third. Unfortunately, he hid behind the three.
Titus whirlwind his sword dashed and broke through three men that guarded Joo Dae Tae. His aim was only one, his rival's head.
Ji Sung charged with the shield on, bashing two enemy swords before trusting his own.
"Eat this, crab!" Man chopped Ji Sung's buckled shield with a great ax into pieces. Ji Sung rolled back and swung his legs. The man down, cried, finding his leg gone.
The swordsman tried to slice Ji Sung, but Ji Sung landed on his chest. Ji Sung pulled out his dagger and threw it at that man. Yet, it gets parried by the sword.
Another man with an ace tried to hammer Ji Sung back, but a bolt struck him before.
Ji Sung leaped forward, jumped, and kicked the sword man, but his feet got a cough, and the sword was ready to trust him.
"Damn, Noobie, you good at axes, heh? Yet you said you just came from another world!" Wedge is laughing hard.
"Nah, you better than me, Wedge!" Ji Sung is back on Wedge.
They face six enemies.
"You said they are six."
"Sorry, I must be wrong."
Wedge laughing. "It's okay. I enjoyed this fight. Better than the tarnished Goblin house. Kid, welcome to the family."
"What?"
"You deaf or what? Welcome to the hood!" as he said, Wedge butchered the swordsman in front of him with a clean swing, and Ji Sung shopped one arm of his attacker like a true Viking
"Help!"
