Aiden was now the only one in the room who was still in control of himself. However, the real question was, for how long would he be able to pull it off?
Because if Ariel truly wanted it, he would falter just like Jake just did.
"Ok…ok, ask me your questions. I'll answer some of them," Ariel said once more.
Aiden waited a little for Jake to speak up. However, there was no noise coming from his right, which made him more anxious as time passed.
Jake was the one who was supposed to do the talking, so why wasn't he doing it anymore?
"Oh!" Ariel smirked. "If you're waiting for your friend, Jake, to speak up, you'll have to wait for a long time. It's just you and me now."
As she uttered those words, her scent entered Aiden's nose. It made the feeling of danger even stronger. He could feel himself close to faltering the more time he spent inside this place.
'I need to be strong. I need to be strong…'
