"Should we get a private room, Sister?" Jiang Xiu asked, her tone casual. By now, she was accustomed to dining in private rooms whenever they visited restaurants.
Fu Xifeng offered a different idea. "How about the table on the second-floor veranda? The view is stunning, and it offers plenty of privacy since it's the only table up there."
Jiang Yue shrugged, her expression indifferent. "Anything works for me." She only insisted on private rooms when dining with Luo Zhelan, anyway.
As they made their way up the stairs to the veranda, they encountered two people descending. Since their group was fairly large, they paused to let the others pass. However, as one of the descending figures came into view, three members of the group froze in place—Fu Xifeng, Jiang Xiu, and Yan Meixiu.
They hadn't expected to run into her here.
The two strangers were about to walk past when one of them suddenly stopped and addressed the group.
