They had finally gotten over Preston's humor, slightly drifting to the main reason for Stiles' visit. Alexia, as always, had excused herself with the reason for exploring the Workshop, which Preston accepted, and Stiles appreciated since he had not shared any deep secret with Alexia, yet. He also planned to not divulge anything until he was sure of the ritual's feasibility.
While Stiles observed, Preston quickly arranged the laboratory, inviting Stiles to sit on an armchair while he stood subserviently.
'Hmm… he seems to truly recognize and respect me as the king of Kynburgh.' Stiles nodded slightly. The more he interacted with Preston, the more he felt inclined to draw him into his project.
'Too bad, the bonding process might take longer, and I'm not willing to go down that path. Still, I can work on it slowly,' Stiles analyzed, before reverting his thoughts to the important task.
