Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: The Life as Dacian Prince

Ferdinand pov

It's been 2 weeks since I arrived in the world of Youjo Senki and I must say, life as a baby sucks like never before.

I can't move my body the way I want or control when I want to shit in diapers, etc. The good thing is that the maids are quick to take care of me and because I feel sorry for them, I only cry when I soiled the diapers.

Because the feeding part focused on my new mom and holy shit, she was singing me a lullaby IN RUSSIAN or better...Russy.

I hope I don't have any maids of Ukrainian origin or I won't be able to sleep well during the night in peace.

Anyway, putting this bad joke of mine aside, let's focus on the most important part that I discovered during these two weeks, I have Magic.

During these weeks I was trying to meditate while I pretended to be sleeping, so the maids wouldn't see anything suspicious.

Yes, I used the famous Young Masters Meditation methods to see if I had magic in me, and surprise, I discovered an energy within me that was clearly Magic.

I'll be honest, I never thought I'd be able to use Magic, I used those methods only because I had nothing to do but eat and soil diapers.

But since I have Magic, I'm going to use it to my advantage in this Political Games Arena, it will be great to deal with some of my future opponents.

Speaking of Magic, I have to look for Mages in Dacia in the future, Tanya's idea of a Mage Air Force is quite good, few knew at the time the threat that Magic Air Power posed.

If one Battalion was enough to be the main responsible for the downfall of several countries in Anime, then I will copy the idea and just take it on a larger scale.

I have to invest a lot in this in the future, this will be essential for the future wars that Dacia would have in the future.

TimeSkip no Jutsu 5 Years

5 years have passed since I arrived in this new world, I am happy that I was able to take control of my body again.

Also, I delved into my Young Master Techniques so I could improve my control over my Magic.

Another thing that happened was that I started studying last year, even though I already showed greater intellect, etc. My parents wanted me to start learning things at 4, which was fine with me.

My plan was to "learn" everything sooner to show that I was a genius, but it was good because I could focus a little more on my Magic, which I was doing in my room as secretly as possible, besides that I was already going to the library of the Royal Palace to read.

I also got to know my parents and grandfather better, my father was someone who took matters seriously, and my mother too but they were both affectionate with me, which I am very grateful for.

My grandfather, the former Grand Duke of Dacia, is quite serious and stern, but he has a good and nice side when you're someone.

I also gave an image that I am a humble and polite boy, which was not my intention, but I still can't fully get used to the life of a Rich Noble.

While I've largely gotten used to this new life, being dressed by someone else and those kinds of things still make me uncomfortable.

But that aside, the learning has gone well, I've learned a lot about Dacia and there were certain things I expected but still made me sigh. because I already saw the problems that will have to be solved.

First of all, Dacia was a Constitutional Monarchy, I will have to prepare myself for the future Power Struggle, get puppet allies/politicians, etc.

The second problem was the Armed Forces, with only the Navy really existing and still so late, making me extremely angry.

The Dacian Royal Army was made up of men from the Cities, Towns, and Villages, they barely received military training and it was only in times of war, literally sent untrained people to die on the battlefield.

We don't even need to talk about the "Generals", who were literally just a bunch of rich men, big landowners with a few medals on their uniforms, and who knew nothing about war, using Napoleonic War Tactics.

The only professional "army" in Dacia was the Royal Guard, which numbered 4,000 men, my grandfather and father spent the Royal Family's own money to guarantee such Professional Force.

It made me respect my father and grandfather even more, as they were trying to make Dacia have some professional strength, even if she was just a Royal Guard.

If it weren't for the Dacian Parliament, we could have a fully professional Army, but that's both an opportunity and a problem.

In case my Plan A doesn't work out, I can use the Royal Guard in the future to seize power by force, through the famous Coup d'Etat, I would just have to plan in more detail so that I can quickly deal with the opposition and deal with the traitorous scum.

As for what is "Plan A"? Simple, I will "create" and secretly support a Political Party that is loyal and supportive of the Royal Family.

This plan is quite risky but I have 2 advantages, my age and my Magic, as many may underestimate me for being a child and I will use this to create such a Party from the shadows since the Magic part is not necessary to explain.

I use the word "create" but it won't really be me as after all I'm just a child, but I'll have someone I can manipulate into becoming a puppy, who will obey my every command and then have that person create the Party that they will support the Royal Family.

Dacia was basically Romania on Youjo Senki's Map, right? So it's time to bring a certain "Guard" to this alternative Romania.

Cursed be Parliament! Again those bastards disapproved of the proposal to create a Professional Army in Dacia.

Frankly, if this continues, Dacia will not be able to defend itself against the Empire and not even the Communists, let alone Magnar Rumeli to the south.

I was on my way to my room after I got the news from my butler that I needed a rest.

"Husband?" I looked forward and saw Dmitrievna in our room already lying down, apparently she was reading a book.

"Let me think... did Parliament deny it again?" my wife asked as she looked at me with those eyes that held pity and anger.

"Sigh, yes" I replied as I walked over to the bed and sat on it, next to Dmitrievna.

"Those bastards, they clearly don't understand the gravity of the situation!" Said my wife angrily and I can't blame her as she is worried about Ferdinand's safety.

After she and her family had to flee the Russy Federation when the Communists took power, she saw some of her acquaintances and friends die and this made her have a deep hatred for the Communists.

The last thing she wants is for Dacia not to be able to protect herself if she is invaded, putting us, and especially Ferdinand, our son, in danger.

"Let's put that aside, how is Ferdinand?" I ask as I look at her.

"He's fine, continuing to study and being a good kid." Hearing that puts a happy smile on my face.

My son is a genius who needs nurturing, with time and education he could become a Great Ruler, that much I am sure of.

Why did this have to happen? just why?!

My dear wife is sick and I barely have enough money to put food on the table for my children, if this continues my wife could die at any moment.

God, I beg you, help my family through this problem, I ask you to give me a sign, anything.
