Finally, the carriage reached the imperial palace. Many nobles were already standing in the hall when Cassian arrived.
They looked grim and somber. When they saw Cassian, their eyes lit up.
"Your Highness, did you hear the news? Do you think about your majesty? " Count Eluciad suddenly turned silent and looked around but his eyes had said it all.
"I have received the letter too. We will find out the truth soon." Since they all were called here, Nickolas had already planned something.
Cassian was most worried. Though everyone was wary of Nicholas, Cassian knew that the man only hated him.
The maids and knights came forward to escort them. They all were taken to the imperial meeting room instead of his majesty's chamber or central palace.
They all were talking to each other with grim looks. Each of them had only one question in their mind when the door opened again.
