The maid was shocked. She made sure no one was left in her room. The maids did not have the right to be treated by a noble physician.
She was sure that no one would come to check on her. But...
Mary smirked as she walked in.
"I know you were pretending to faint from the start. So, do not try to act again." The mad flinched.
She took a step back and tried to run but two knights blocked the way.
"I apologize. I was just afraid. I did not know anything about the fire. I have not started it. I was not even there. I swear, I did not know anything." She cried and pleaded. Falling to her knees, she bowed in front of Mary who shook her head.
"Tsk! I can not believe that they hired such a naive girl." Mary crouched on the ground and held the jaw of the crying girl with such cold eyes that the girl flinched.
"Did I even ask you about the fire? Or who started it? Why are you blabbering so much?" the maid flinched.
