"My lady, do you not like the preparation?" Daisy looked at the circular tables she had arranged in the garden with worry.
She used ivory cloth and red roses to decorate the table with silverwares. The pastries looked finest and the tendrils covering the arch of the gazebo gave a fairytale effect.
But looking at the dark face of the lady, Daisy was uncertain.
"Perhaps, I can make changes if you tell me things you dislike." Asked Daisy again but Mary just sighed.
The preparations were impeccable. It was better than she could have done. But she was worried that Kriss was waiting for her.
He was annoyed when she left him alone last night. She wanted a chance to inform him that Cassian was looking for him. But how?
