The man laughed when Cassey felt heat rising to her cheeks. She glared at him with sharp eyes.
"What do you mean? Why are you laughing like a fool?" it was her insult. She was going to make sure that the man would regret his actions.
"You call yourself a duchess." he looked at her from head to toe again. "Do you think anyone would believe it just because you are wearing fancy clothes?"
He shook his head when Cassey felt everyone's attention was on her. Her face further reddened.
"I am the duchess. What is there to believe or not to believe?" she gritted her teeth and spoke loudly so that everyone could hear it.
They should be wary of her. But the man only snickered.
