"Alec is with Cassandra?" his eyes cracked and flicked with something dangerous when Nick raised a brow.
Understanding dawned on him and he finally realized why Cassian decided to accept the crime rather than speak truth to him.
"You were sure that I had kidnapped him. Ha!" a dry laugh escaped his lips as he stood up. The chair was pushed backward with force.
Nick shook his head, his face going cold and dark.
"You thought I had your son? I have planned the attack to accuse you and send you to prison." His low growl left Cassian at a loss for words.
The way Ben had forced him to come here, Cassin was sure that Nick would be waiting for him.
"You always think the worst of me when all I wanted was to gain appreciation from Renne. If I wanted to kill someone, I would have killed you. Why would I kill everyone else and let you survive?" Nick spat those words in fury as he opened the door and left the room.
