"Nicholas? Are you blaming him?" she opened her mouth and looked at the assassin as if no words did justice to her thoughts. "You are being ridiculous." she shook her head.
But her red face was showing how much she was worried about Cassian. She was not that worried when she was attacked or injured.
But when it came to him, her eyes were burning fiercely.
He felt a sour taste in his mouth and his eyes narrowed.
"Why should I not? I have no other enemy except him. And who would have the power to hire assassins against a prince except his cousin?" she gaped. The reasoning was just nonsense.
