"I will not get hurt, Cassian." If everything comes to worst, maybe her death will send her back to her world.
Her world.. How was it? What was her name? What did she look like? Slowly her memories of that world faded. And the memories she had made here filled her mind.
As if she had always been Mary, a commoner, or Alec's mother. She did not remember her past well. And her desire to return was fading too. It felt like she was already at home, where she should be.

"If I am in danger, I will find a way to contact you. How about you send Daisy with me or a knight?" the smile on her face grew, making him sigh.
"I know that you will understand." She laughed and hugged him with joy. He failed to understand her motives.
If she wanted to enjoy wealth and luxury, he already had it. Why did she want to take to such lengths to help him?
