Thousands of years later…
After roaming deep into the Dark Void Domain and training their skills, Maximus' family regained some confidence and decided to fight an Apex Dark Beast again.
Looking at a similar Dark Beast that had nearly killed them thousands of years ago, Max and the others were filled with fighting intent.
"Fighting it with all of you?" Maximus muttered, seeing all of them preparing to head out.
"Are you jealous, Father?" Lux joked.
With the entire Shadowcrest family heading into battle, only his father remained on the Shadow Void Ship.
"You wish. Concentrate on the fight," Maximus said, forcefully patting Lux's back.
Exiting the Void Ship, they didn't surround the Apex Dark Beast like in the past.
Instead, they stayed back and went on a killing spree, eliminating the weaker Dark Beasts nearby.
