Synopsis
Cultivators of all races seek to grow and achieve their goals in life. Even though 99% of humans on Earth integrated cultivation apart of their lives the remaining 1% of humans simply choose to ignore it and live their lives in peace. But living in peace only lasts so long before death and destruction tear apart the peaceful life of the people that live there. The story follows Nevs Salome who grew up in a normal family and had a normal life with his parents and his older sister. For Nevs grew up training with his father who was a hunter and his mother who was experienced as a doctor. His older sister was there for him as his childhood wasn't pleasant for him as he chose to avoid talking. It's not that he was mute, it was easier for his actions to speak for himself. But how will Nevs be able to live a life without being a cultivator? Find out in the following chapters. I'll try to write chapters for the story to keep it interesting.

Chapter 1 - One's past

In the ascended lands that are separated from the lesser worlds among the cultivators of all kinds of races and living beings. Of all of the cultivators that have experienced much over their lives, only a few have reached the end of the cultivator journey. Those few that achieved the end of their journey as a cultivator has earned the privilege of being Transcended Celestials.

Transcended Celestials are cultivators that have proven themselves to be literal gods that rule over the lower planes of existence. Among the few cultivators that have passed the trials and become Transcended Celestials, our story follows one by the name of Nevs Salome.

Nevs Salome's appearance is an ordinary person but behind his looks, he wields mastery over all of the elements and elemental abilities that can be learned from sealed scrolls. He resides in the Grand Palace. The Grand Palace is where the Transcended Celestials reside as the immeasurable pressure from their presence alone can be impossible for lower-stage cultivators to even try to go one on one with any of them. Nevs himself rules over the few cultivators that passed the trials to achieve becoming a Transcended Celestial themselves.

Aside from Nevs being the most powerful of the Transcended Celestials, he gets bored easily. Now why is he easily bored? Simple Nevs never wanted to be a cultivator, to begin with. He only gave in to becoming a cultivator himself of his stubbornness in trying to get stronger without being a cultivator from the beginning of his life was a near impossible thing even for him to achieve. Even though both his parents were ordinary people they knew that eventually either their daughter or son would awaken an affinity when they took the cultivator assessment which is held yearly for kids from the age of 13 to 18 years old.

Nev's parents are respectively mid-40s in their father's and late-30s for their mother's. His father's name is Han Salome and he's a hunter who goes hunting various kinds of animals in the woods or the mountains as the animals are of different kinds of elements that can make them deadly to fight against. His mother's name is Eva Salome and she's a doctor she helps treat patients and their injuries at the hospital where she works at. Aside from Han and Eva doing their own thing as a hunter and doctors respectively they do train their daughter and son to fight and defend themselves when they fight others.

Nevs older sister's name is Sandra Salome and she was 16 years old back then, but she was able to awaken her elemental affinity to the natural element which is to use the power of the Earth to her will. Sandra is an A-ranked cultivator on the Earth Affinity. Sandra looked out for her little brother when they were growing up when the both of them went to school to help the students to learn about cultivators and how they can be able to awaken an affinity to one of the elements that are known to the human race on the Earth. For Nevs growing up and experiencing school at the young age of 10 years old he was picked on mainly because he didn't speak to others.

Now Nevs can talk it's just that he chooses not to. He lets his actions speak for himself rather than saying what wants to say. Back when he was young his parents gave him a notepad along with a pen and pencil for him. Now a notepad, a pen, and a pencil are lousy gifts for any kid when they were younger.

But not to Nevs because his parents were aware that he kept to himself with speaking. So they gave him a way to talk indirectly to others with a notepad, a pen, and a pencil. As he can use either a pen or pencil and write what he wants to show to others to read what he's thinking about.

His experience in school was rough time for him at the age of 10 as his older sister had to be transferred to the same classes as he was in by the principal himself. Eventually, the principal decided to move Nevs to the reserve department of the school for children that were considered to be the minority of the students. From the age of 10 to 13 Nevs knew the trauma of constantly being picked on by the older kids that were from the other classes of the school. As the other kids went after him whenever his older sister wasn't able to help him when he was picked on.

When Nevs was at the age of 13 he was able to take part in the cultivation assessment that the world holds for children that have yet to experience it. Held for children from 13 to 18 years old. Nevs himself knew that the cultivation assessment was a big deal for this age gap for kids. For the next few years, every child was under a lot of stress as they did their best to awaken to what type of element affinity when they went to school.

As it is already known that Nevs' older sister awoke to the Earth's affinity at the age of 16, but Nevs unfortunately from 13 to 18 years old wasn't able to awaken to any affinity for cultivation. The kids where his family was living picked on him for his repeated results whenever he took the cultivator assessment. As he got older the insults toward him drove him to depression. From elementary to high school kids that were his age were already ahead of others as they grew stronger and continued to improve their skills and abilities as a cultivator.

Nevs knew that one thing was certain. That his older sister couldn't continue to keep watch over him as they got older. He thought to himself, "I'll prove to everyone that I can get stronger without being a cultivator."
