Whispers and gossips flew about the corridor after the exit of the royal carriage, but everything immediately turned quiet by the time series of footsteps echoed approaching forward.
The maids dutily went back to their job after hearing the sounds of the heavy footsteps on the floor. No doubt it was their Crown Prince.
Along with him tagged his companions. The red haired one and the blonde. The serious demeanor they exhibited brought fear and dread to the gossipy maids that pretended to be busy all while long.
A heavy breath escaped from them each when they were sure that the Prince had left and was not within earshot.
If only they knew. . .
"When did this happen?" Cesarean questioned immediately they got into the Prince's chamber.
"The night of the banquet." Servyn replied, his voice exhausted and somewhat drained.
"The Blood Moon was out." Korden muttered, more to himself.
