Elphaba sat facing the waterfall that fell from the gigantic rock above. Her expression was somewhat unreadable and none could tell what was on her mind.
The audible footsteps coming from behind her immediately caught her attention. But she made no attempt to move a muscle and just sat silently.
"My Queen…." The soft voice muttered out. Checking on her expression.
Glinda tightly pressed her lips together. The Queen has been like this since Ottilia had left on her command.
She looked calm but also unsure, afraid of the possibilities that may hinder their plans.
As a response, a silent sigh broke from the queen's mouth.
"My Queen, you shouldn't worry about her, I'm sure she'll do just fine." Glinda voiced her words of comfort, though seemingly it appeared uncertained to her as well.
"I'm not worried about her. I worry for the truth." Queen Elphaba conceded, her brows met in a split second as she ended her words.
