Lothaire waited patiently in the living room for Larisa as he watched the time on the clock intently, not tearing his gaze off every second that ticked as he tapped the armrest of the chair rhythmically along with the ticking of the clock.
The time was strictly five on the dot and his brows creased when she wasn't back yet. He wanted to call her on the new phone he had bought for her but he refrained from doing so, he would wait a bit more, but his frown deepened when it was thirty minutes past five and she still wasn't back yet.
He stood up abruptly from the chair and was about to go out but the door swung open immediately, making Larisa bump into his hard chest.
"You're late." He said with a stern voice and she looked up to meet Lothaire's face etched with a frown on it, was he seriously mad at her for being a few minutes late? She sighed inwardly.
