Falka was in a deep slumber when the maids barged into her room. Their gentle shaking brought her back into reality.
Groaning softly, her thick lashes fluttered open for her eyes to meet a few maids hovering above her.
"Milady, we need to prepare you beforehand for the wedding." One of the maid informed, but Falka was still slightly dazed as she sat up, running her fingers through her wild locks.
For a minute, Falka couldn't comprehend where she was, but as she slowly regained her composure, the memories came rushing back to her.
