Approaching their chambers, Rama prepared for bed as she changed into a simple night dress, her gaze never meeting Draco's, perhaps to feign displeasure at his actions.
"You shouldn't waste your compassion on people like them." Draco muttered with a low voice as he stood behind her, watching as she let her down.
"It would have been easier to just let them go, they were only measly thieves." She said with a sigh.
"They've killed, raped and robbed innocent people, I can assure you they deserved everything that came to them. Just because they're the human species doesn't mean they're humane." Draco remarked.
"Hm, is that compassion I sense in the cold heart of Draco?" Rama quipped with a smile as she turned to face him.
"I assure you, certainly not." He replied stiffly.
"Since when did you care for the innocents and justification?" she pointed out.
