Rama's eyes squinted as she looked at him skeptically. His words had an underlying meaning to it or rather he was conveying a literal meaning.
She opened her mouth to say something, but he beat her to it.
"I have to go now. I'll see you some other time." Damien said with a half grin tearing through his lips.
"What do you mean by prey can become predators?" Rama shot at him, ignoring the fact that he was about to leave, but she wouldn't let him leave her hanging in suspense.
The grin on his lips fell to be replaced with a puckish smirk, his red eyes smoldering as he gazed down at her with a rather mischievous glint in his eyes. He buried his hands into his trouser pockets and smacked his tongue before speaking.
"If you're curious, meet me at the castle's tower by midnight." His voice was low, almost like a low growl reverberating from beneath his throat, making him look no less than malevolence in its physical form.
