Avian brought back Laverna with him and Lothaire went ahead to talk to her, leaving Larisa behind with Anne.
The girls walked down the hall as they chatted.
"Did you see the way he was looking at me? He might have liked good girls but not for long." Anne drawled with a mischievous smile on her lips as she spoke excitedly to Larisa.
"Yeah, good for you." Larisa mumbled with a dull voice, she seemed deeply troubled about something and Anne could see it as worry was visibly etched on her face.
"What's wrong?" Anne queried, the mischievous look on her face was suddenly replaced with a worried one as she looked at her friend.
"You remember I told you I had nightmares before we left Empire D and I said it stopped after the sorceress died?" Larisa said trying to refresh Anne's memory and she immediately nodded her head in affirmation, eager for her to continue.
