"I'm sorry but I have somewhere else to be, I'll see you tonight." Anne said as they stepped out of the school and Larisa had a glum expression on her face, thinking Anne didn't want to spend time with her because of Lothaire but truthfully, she had somewhere else to be.
Her father had set up a date with a wealthy suitor for her which wasn't surprising as every wealthy parent wanted their children to marry only the best.
"Where are you going to?" Larisa asked.
"It's just another suitor my dad set me up with." Anne said flatly and she realized how lucky Larisa was to be able to choose the man she wanted and for a minute, she tried her best to look at the bright side of the situation, she had never seen her friend glow that much before and maybe she was really happy with him....Even though he was dangerous.
